Mary Parrack received a PhD in English Literature at the University of Dallas. While attending UD, Dr. Parrack received third place in the international essay contest of the Jane Austen Society of North America.  She has taught English classes at the University of Dallas. She also teaches English dual credit classes in high schools for Tarrant County College.

Dr. Parrack homeschooled her four children. During this time, she taught a variety of courses in homeschool co-ops. She has tutored students at the homeless shelter. She has planned and presented storytimes at the local library. She enjoys working with students and making learning enjoyable. She strives to make the subject matter easy to understand, yet also challenging. Dr. Parrack went back to school for graduate school and believes in life long learning and hopes to pass this belief on to your student.

Dr. Parrack and her husband, Jeff, have four wonderful, grown children. Dr. Parrack leads a book club, volunteers at the Warm Place, and loves to read and cook in her spare time.
