Emily Martin

My name is Emily Martin. I will be teaching the Elementary Science, Bridge Science, and the Texas History classes at Science Etc. I have a degree in elementary education in both Texas and Oklahoma, which allows me to teach all core subject areas Kinder to eighth grade. I have experience teaching in public schools, tutoring ,and assisting with schooling from home. With my father working in education and my mother working in the postpartum department as a nurse, I have always felt the need to help and serve others. I am from a Christian family of six and I love being a part of a big family. I was homeschooled from first grade to fifth grade and attended many different co-ops, which I loved. I have a heart for all kids. Growing up with a family member with special needs has given me the compassion, patience, and empathy to have a heart for every child. I am an extremely hard worker that is passionate and determined to help children of any age feel heard and known. I am so excited to be a part of Science Etc. and I hope to see you in my classroom real soon!
