Zandrah Kurland

Through the years, Mrs. Zandrah Kurland has home-schooled her three children, guided middle-school students through STEAM and art classes at the Benbrook Library, and taught literature and writing to middle and high school students online. Her current adventure has led her into the world of competitive speech and debate, which she sees as the magnum opus of a successful language arts education. Mrs. Kurland hopes to bring the skill of debate to Science, Etc. students in a way that is enjoyable and meaningful to their personal growth.

Mrs. Kurland received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Communications at Northern Illinois University. She has worked in the field of marketing and design in Chicago and Minneapolis before moving to Fort Worth. The Kurlands have been part of the Science Etc. family since 2016.
